Upendo Face Orphanage is a registered,non-governmental and a Charitable Organization with a Registration No.OONGO/4841.
Located at Nkoanrua village,Upendo Face Orphanage is a home meant for
orphan's and a day care center for children's around the village.We
believe that anyone,anywhere can help to change these little lives,
through the inexpensive care provided by this children’s home.We offer
more than just food, clothing, and shelter; we offer education and a
loving home. Our ultimate aim is for the orphanage to be self-supporting
as we begin implementing various alternative livelihood projects and
receive renewable support from people around the globe. Children's at
Upendo Face Orphanage are home schooled and – this gives us the
opportunity to provide them quality education at our own pace.When
children are orphaned, they become vulnerable to a whole host of dangers
in the name of supporting themselves and their siblings. Children who
have been orphaned often drop out of school to provide for themselves
and to pay for food and school fees for younger siblings.
