8th UNESCO YOUTH FORUM RECOMMENDATIONS

One of the key innovations of 8th UNESCO YOUTH FORUM Recommendations consist in providing its young participants with multiple and varied tools to reinforce their inherent capacities, thereby allowing them to be more operational upon their return to their Localities. I normally intend to give a particular platform to capacity development so as to allow its young participants to leave, once the training ends, with a greater knowledge of the existing opportunities, so that they may become true actors of change in their communities and country at Large.
In the way of accomplishing this purpose, I used to provide seminar, training and workshop activities for youth participants that aim at reinforcing the capacities of the young participants of the Forum in a variety of fields, placing notably an accent on developing and setting up projects.
GOVERNANCE AND POLICY ADVICE SEMINAR
The course is designed to cater for students and professionals who are interested in decision making, political communication, policy advice, and consulting. Course participants are expected to follow current politics and to be keen on looking at the matter from different (and sometimes unusual) perspectives.
UNITE TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN WORKSHOP
The UNITE to End Violence against Women workshop aimed at raising awareness about violence against women and discuss solutions that would work for the community, Create a social movement around the issue of VAW, with a wide reach and targeting new audiences.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAPACITY BUILDING
This training aimed at understanding the leadership skills related to the conflict resolutions, Human rights based approaches and Accountability and the environmental conservation.
SUSTAINABLE ENERGY ENTERPRISES
This training held at CDEA for the main objective to educate young people on how they can open their mind to look up to the opportunity around this energy industry and the way this industry has made a lot of contributions to power our community development.
PROJECT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT.
This seminar was organized by Young Tourism Network in association with UNESCO Youth Desk of Tanzania and closely supported by UNESCO NATIONAL COMMISION OF TANZANIA for capacity building.
• “One-to-one” coaching and mentoring sessions
Apart from conducting the seminar and some activities l also concerns with face-to-face exchange programs to young leaders from all over the country by collaborating with private sector partners, UNESCO ASPNET, UNESCO YOUTH DESK and civil society actors.
on the other hand they promote their work among a young and the entire public, and to grasp the creative initiatives and novel ideas produced by youth, hence resulting in the creation of new synergies on both sides.
