QUALITIES OF SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP
1. He must be a man of vision
- Hosea 4:6
A Spiritual Leader must have
a guiding vision. He must be able to see
what his followers are not seeing.
Vision imparts adventure and help you to have a focus.
2. He must be discipline
- I Tim. 3:1-7
Discipline means obedience
and imposing strict guidelines on yourself.
Discipline makes you to lead by example.
Only the disciplined can discipline others.
3. He must be a man of wisdom and knowledge - Lk.
2:52, Isa. 33:6
Wisdom is the ability to use
knowledge effectively. A call to
spiritual Leadership is a spiritual assignment which needs deeper knowledge and
the correct application of that knowledge (wisdom) for the fulfillment of that
assignment.
4. He must be sensitive
- I Sam. 23:2, 10-11 II Kgs 3:15
A spiritual Leader has the
Holy Spirit as his guiding force, he must know what the Holy Spirit is saying
per time.
5. He must be courageous
- Joshua 1:7
The path of spiritual
Leadership is full of challenges only courageous men succeeds in treading that
path.
6. He must be full of faith and Holy Ghost -
Heb. 11:6, Acts 6:3-5
A work with God especially in
the level of Leadership requires faith and the Holy Ghost to be in tune with
Heaven’s signals and approvals.
