CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING ON UNESCO YOUTH FORUMS, IRINGA , TANZANIA
The
capacity building training is organized as preparatory activity towards
the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum 2015; the training is organized with the
intention of inviting 100 Youth participants from different backgrounds
from Higher learning Institutions and Youth Organizations.
MAIN OBJECTIVE
To
provide a road map and establish mechanisms that will act toward
ensuring that youth are highly are engaged in UNESCO Youth Forums
starting with the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum of October 2015 and lead UNESCO
actions to promote peace and sustainable development in their
communities.
Specific Objectives
- To train youth on how UNESCO Youth Forums are conducted after every two (2) years, qualifications and fundraising strategies.
- To share 8th UNESCO Youth Forum Recommendations.
- To provide a platform for youth to review UNESCO operation strategy on youth 2014-2021.
- To train youth on Leadership skills and Diplomacy
Target Group
The capacity building training aims at inviting 100 Youth representatives from different backgrounds, youth
from High school, higher learning institutions and universities, youth
organizations and civil societies and media, also there will be invited
guests from the ministry dealing with youth development.

The capacity building training will be held in English and Swahili.
