YOUTH CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 19th -22 SEPT 2016

Call For Application East Africa | Youth Conference On Sustainable Development 19th-22nd Sept. 2016
We are looking for passionate, active and inspiring youth to participate to the SDGs Youth conference 2016. The Conference is organized with the intention of inviting hundred (100) Youth participants,from Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda,Burundi & Uganda aged between 18 to 30 years. The Conference is scheduled to take place from 19th-22nd September, 2016, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The Conference will bring together young women and men from across the East African Region to discuss the theme and formulate a number of strategic recommendations.
SUB-THEMES:
Under the main theme “Youth and Sustainable Development”, the conference will be focusing on three interconnected thematic areas (sub-themes), which are highly topical and have the potential to generate dynamic exchange and concrete ideas.

Capacity Development
Leadership & Civic Engagement
It’s expected that the forum will provide a road map and establish mechanisms that will act toward ensuring that youth are highly engaged into SDG's activities and lead actions to promote peace and sustainable development within their communities.
ELIGIBILITY
(1) 18–30 years old(students,journalists,youth representatives and professionals)
(2) Interested in youth agenda.
(3) Should be a citizen of mentioned countries.
(4) Good spoken, written, English and Swahili language.
PARTICIPATION FEE
Tanzanians will pay 140,000 TZS and for International Applicants will be USD 90.
