Biblical Scriptures on covenant
And the king stood by a pillar, and made a
COVENANT before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments
and his testimonies and his statutes with all [their] heart and all [their]
soul, to perform the words of this COVENANT that were written in this book. And
all the people stood to the COVENANT.
Then will I remember my COVENANT with Jacob,
and also my COVENANT with Isaac, and also my COVENANT with Abraham will I
remember; and I will remember the land.
He that is born in thy house, and he that is
bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my COVENANT shall be in
your flesh for an everlasting COVENANT.
Moreover I will make a COVENANT of peace with
them; it shall be an everlasting COVENANT with them: and I will place them, and
multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might
bring from thence the ark of the COVENANT of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth
[between] the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, [were]
there with the ark of the COVENANT of God.
Not according to the COVENANT that I made with
their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of
the land of Egypt; which my COVENANT they brake, although I was an husband unto
them, saith the LORD:
And I will give the men that have transgressed
my COVENANT, which have not performed the words of the COVENANT which they had
made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts
thereof,
Not according to the COVENANT that I made with
their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the
land of Egypt; because they continued not in my COVENANT, and I regarded them
not, saith the Lord.
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a
son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my
COVENANT with him for an everlasting COVENANT, [and] with his seed after him.
These [are] the words of the COVENANT, which
the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of
Moab, beside the COVENANT which he made with them in Horeb.
Which had the golden censer, and the ark of
the COVENANT overlaid round about with gold, wherein [was] the golden pot that
had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the COVENANT;

and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his
soul, to perform the words of the COVENANT which are written in this book.
Nevertheless I will remember my COVENANT with
thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting
COVENANT.
And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying,
Take up the ark of the COVENANT, and pass over before the people. And they took
up the ark of the COVENANT, and went before the people.
Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my
COVENANT of the day, and my COVENANT of the night, and that there should not be
day and night in their season;
For the ships of Chittim shall come against
him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against
the holy COVENANT: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence
with them that forsake the holy COVENANT.
And [Benhadad] said unto him, The cities,
which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make
streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then [said Ahab], I
will send thee away with this COVENANT. So he made a COVENANT with him, and
sent him away.
And I will establish my COVENANT between me
and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting
COVENANT, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
For this [is] my COVENANT unto them, when I
shall take away their sins.
Keep therefore the words of this COVENANT, and
do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
Neither with you only do I make this COVENANT
and this oath;
They kept not the COVENANT of God, and refused
to walk in his law;
For their heart was not right with him,
neither were they stedfast in his COVENANT.
To such as keep his COVENANT, and to those
that remember his commandments to do them.
And I, behold, I establish my COVENANT with
you, and with your seed after you;
I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be
for a token of a COVENANT between me and the earth.
The LORD our God made a COVENANT with us in
Horeb.
And I will cause you to pass under the rod,
and I will bring you into the bond of the COVENANT:
But they like men have transgressed the
COVENANT: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
